If system security blocks some programs you may get the flashing on the screen. Open System Preferences and select Security & Privacy. In the General tab under "Allow Applications Downloaded From" and select "Anywhere"

Is this resolving the flashing issue ?

this doesn't help now, and i can show you the snapshot of my launching pad.

Oh a lot of programs missing the icons... Okay, please safeboot your mac. Safebooting mac will do some basic disk and file repairs.

1. Shut down the system completely
2. Press the power button to turn it back on
3. Wait for the startup chime
4. Immediately after (not before) the startup chime, press and hold the shift key. Hold down it until the grey apple loading screen shows up.
5. Wait while safe mode boots up. It will take a lot longer than regular OS X.
6. Log in (press shift-enter instead of enter after putting in your password XXXXX log in without login items.)
7. You are in safe mode

Check wheather the icons and flashing is there on the safe mode. If everything is okay on safe mode reboot normally and check the result.

Let me know the result.

the icon aren't there and the frequency of the flashing gets even higher......

Press Command + Option + Escape simultaneously. This will open the Force Quit Applications window.

Select each running application and Force Quit. Check whether the flashing disappears when quitting a program and let me know the result.

i think there is something wrong with the google drive, and i quit my google drive stuff so the desktop stops flashing at the moment, but the icons still aren't there.

And may i ask u a question about payment? why i get $ 3*63+5 subtracted by this single question?

It seems this question value is $68, which means you will get charged $68. If you need to know more about subscription and question value please [email protected]

To restore the icons please do the following:

Press & HOLD Option Key.
On Finder click on GO and then Library (If you didn't hold down the option key you may not see the Library under Go)
You will get open the Library folder
Find and open Preferences folder
Remove the files : com.apple.desktop.plist and com.apple.finder.plist
Go back to Library folder and delete CACHES folder
Reboot the system.
Desktop Icons will restored.

Regards
Jins
