HiI have an MacBook with Office: Mac 2011 and Im having

Hi
I have an MacBook with Office: Mac 2011 and I'm having problems with my password XXXXX intall some software updates. This had been ongoing for ages and today I decided to try and sort it.

I'll go throught the screen
1. Microsoft auto Update - weekly - check for Updates (no problem)
2. Messenger 8.0.2 Update Critical 13.01.13 25.9 MB
Microsoft Erro 2.2.9 Update Critical 19.10.12 2.0 MB - Install (no problem)
3 Downloadinf: Messenger 8.0.2 and Erro 2.2.9 - Install (no problem)
4 Welcome - Continue (no problem)
5 Important information - continue (no problem)
6 Software license Agreement (no problem)
7 Agree (no problem)
8 Select destination - continue (no problem)
9 Standard Install on Macintosh HD - Install (no problem)
10 Password XXXXX Install software ( it does not recognise my password)

I reset my Microsoft password XXXXX morning. Logged of the Macbook. Turned back on SAME PROBLEM it will not recognise my password. HELP

We shoud start out by resetting your Mac administrator password, as follows.

Once you have reset your admin password, for good measure you should reset your password XXXXX keychain as well..

You should then have no issues installing software.. As long as your using your admin account and the admin password XXXXX it asks you to install the software, you should be good to go.
