Please... anyone... I need some help with photos missing from

Please... anyone... I need some help with photos missing from the camera roll on my iPhone 4S after an import of half the pictures into iPhoto. I selected about 250 pictures to be imported... no problem there. I was making some room on the phone for new pictures (yet to be taken) so I told iPhoto to delete the imported ones... OK fine. Those pictures are in iPhoto and shouldn't be on the camera roll anyway - they are good. Then it seemed to start indexing my camera roll in iPhoto, but was taking forever - so like an idiot, I unplugged the phone because I figured "hey, it's done importing and shouldn't need to worry about those other photos." WRONG... all the remaining photos that were on the camera roll after the ones I imported are gone. I even tried plugging the phone into a Windows machine to browse the folders. I am truly heartbroken as it lost all the pictures from my cousin's wedding and I have no iCloud backup (it's been too full for months now.) Normally I back everything up at home, but I'm traveling which is why I have so many pictures. Is there anything I can do to restore the photos that should be there in my camera roll or am I doomed? I'm going off to weep softly in a corner now....

If you are using a PC, Internet Explorer works the best. If you are using a Mac, only Safari will work with this remote.

Are you having any problems with running that remote application after it is downloaded?

Which Internet browser are you currently using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or something of the like)?

I pasted your link into Safari, it is "clocking" on joining session. I've tried a couple of the options and it keeps clocking. The little download is listed but it won't allow me to open it.

Wanted to let you know, Dr. Fone didn't work and I called Apple who told me they are aware of this situation and essentially nothing can be done to recover my photos from the camera roll. So I'm out $150+ dollars and no pictures. They said the next version of iPhoto will have a warning not to unplug when the camera roll is reindexing because currently there is no warning listed and the index happens in the background, so people are generally not aware (and they have been receiving many complaints.) Thanks for trying to help.
