Hello and welcome to JustAnswer! My name is XXXXX XXXXX I would be glad to assist you with your issue today. Please note that I am in eastern time (UTC -5:00) and am generally online between the hours of 10 AM and 4 PM and some evenings between 7 PM and 11 PM.
What happens when you try to open an Adobe website? Does it not load?
All websites related to adobe come up with the attached screenshoot
Ok. Please be honest but have you ever used pirated copies of Adobe software?
You will not get in trouble or anything but typically to circumvent the activation process of Adobe products, you need to modify your DNS. This is sometimes the result of that. It is an easy fix, just need to narrow down if that is it or not.
Yes i have downloaded in design
Ok, it is likely that www.adobe.com is one of the redirected domains. Would you like to do a remote control session? It would be easier to fix than to explain.
Great - just a sec.
i have log me in
Please go here and accept: http://184.108.40.206:8040/?Session=baaca051-6878-4eba-9f05-0739f91ca5b0 - A file will be downloaded - please run it so i can connect.
Sorry, I have to use our own software.
is it generally a slow download only 5% so far
Hrm - remote control might be difficult then if you have a slower connection.
I can try to explain it instead. Are you familiar with the Terminal app?
its at 60% now
Ok, we can still try it
it says this application could not be found
Ah, you have an older Mac OS X then, I believe.
Let's try our alternative service: http://www.join.me/
Go there and click Start Meeting. It will download a file. Run the file and provide me with the 9 digits at the top of your screen.
screen client is running now
Ah, perfect! let's see how well this works. Mind if I take control then?
All set! :)
great thanks for your help
can you help with anything else or will i need to resubmit?
No problem at all.
