Mavericks corrupts Acrobat Installation - message comes back

Resolved Question:

Mavericks corrupts Acrobat Installation - message comes back file damaged re-install. Have retied down load from Adobe - same, Tried reinstalling with new account - same, used mac cleaner - same

Does this happens when you open installed Acrobat or when you try to install it ?

When i open Installed Acrobat - the install procedure is fine . I have also re- downloaded dmg install file.

 

I was online with ADOBE for 4 hours and they could not resolve issue.

Also used cleaner supplied by adobe and retried no luck

It might be the corrupted library files of Acrobat. We can do a clean install of Acrobat and see if it works or not.

We can uninstall it using the uninstaller application named AppCleaner. Download and install AppCleaner application from here :http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/

Open AppCleaner and load Acrobat application in AppCleaner. AppCleaner will load Acrobat and all its related files in it. Select all files and click Delete button. This will completely delete Acrobat from your Mac. Then reinstall it.

Please let me know if that didn't work, so we can continue troubleshooting.

Done this already using MacKeeper will try again with this application. Adobe also sent me a cleaner which did not work

Please get rid of Mackeeper as it does more harm than good. Please try with AppCleaner.
