I have a 2006 iMac and a 2012 iPhone - both use my me.com account. Now that I have downloaded iOS 7 to my iPhone, I have a problem with my calendar.
When I add an event from either of the devices, they all show up on my iMac, but never show up on my iPhone.

After installing IOS 7, you needed to put in your iCloud password XXXXX the BusyCal program again. If you didn't yet put it, please do it and check again. Please check this tutorial also. It will help you to use calendar on your iPhone in a better way.

What is a "BusyCal" program?

BusyCal is the ultimate OS X calendar app. Calendar Events in BusyCal sync with the built-in Calendar app on iOS. To sync your iPhone with iCloud please do the following:

  1. On your Home screen, tap Settings.
  2. Tap iCloud.
  3. Enter your iCloud username and password XXXXX tap Next.
  4. Turn on Calendars.
  5. If prompted, choose “Merge with iCloud” to make sure the calendars already on your device sync with iCloud.

You are now syncing BusyCal with your iPhone through iCloud. Check and let me know the result.

Regards

Jins

Hi, when I tap iCloud, it does not have any place to put my username and password.

Okay, look for an option to sign out. Then sign back in and check the result.

Jins
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I do not see an option to sign out.

Okay, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in again. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your iCloud data will reappear on your device when you sign back in.

To avoid losing photo stream photos, save them to your camera roll (if not already there) before deleting the account. To do this, open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, then tap Save to Camera Roll.

Regards

Jins

I am afraid to do that.

My iPhone 5 has two accounts on it.

One is my " icloud.com" account and the other is my " me.com" account. It is always set on the " me.com" account. So, I am afraid it will delete that account instead of my " icloud.com" account.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Relist: Other.
I am not dissatisfied. I am afraid that our chat will timeout if I wait any longer. M. N. Jins has been chatting with me, and that is fine. I just didn't want to start all over again.
Sorry for the delay in reply. Didn't you deleted the me.com account ? After it also, didn't the events showing ? Please login on https://www.icloud.com
and check wheather you are able to see the calendar events.

No, when I upgraded from my iPhone 4 to my iPhone 5 last year, the store where I bought my iPhone 5 transfered all my documents and data for me. The fellow set up my iPhone 5 so that I would not have to login to my email, I just have to tap my mail icon and it appears.

He set it up on my " me.com" account.

He also included my " icloud.com" account on the iPhone, but I never login or logout of that account.

I receive all my email and text messages on my " me.com" account, and I never have to login or logout of it on my iPhone - only on my iMac.

Okay, on your imac with safari web browser login to your me.com account and icloud.com account. And check the calendar events are displaying correctly.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

When I am in icloud on my iMac, and I click on the calendar icon, all of my events are displayed.

When I am in my me.com on my iPhone, and tap my calendar icon, none of my events are displayed.

Actually, apple closed me.com services on 2012 and placed iCloud instead of it. I think that is why the fellow configured the icloud account also on your phone. If you've got multiple accounts set up on your iPhone or iPad, the Mail app will automatically send a new message from your default account. So, I think your default account is me.com account and the calendar also using it and that is why you are not getting the event list.

Please try the following.

1. Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPhone
2. Now tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendar.
3. Scroll down the page quite a ways until you see an option for Default Account. Tap on it.
4. Tap on the iCloud account name to set it as the default account.
5. Open calendar and check the result.

Regards
Jins

I am looking at the Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars screen and have scrolled all the way to the bottom.

There is no option "Default Account" anywhere on this screen. There is only a "Default Calender" option.

Okay, tap on Default caledar. What it shows ?

Regards
Jins
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Default Calendar only shows the 4 types of calendars:

Home,

Work,

Calendar,

Social Calendar.

The one I tap on will become my default calendar.

There is nothing more on this screen.

Okay, when you open the Calendar app, tap "Calendars" at the bottom-middle of the screen. Do you see your iCloud calendar as an available choice there ?

regards
Jins
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

No, only my "me.com" calendar.

Tapping on that me.com name not giving you the otion to set iCloud.com account ?

regards
Jins
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

No. Nothing happens when I tap on it.

Can you delete the me.com account from the phone ? If so delete it and then disable and enable back the calendar. I hope, it will work then. If not, you should remove and re-add the icloud account as I said first to fix the issue. If you are fear to do it, contact the nearest apple store.

Resetting the phone to factory state and restoring it back from a backup also is a suggested solution by some forums.

Regards
Jins
