Hi there, and welcome to JustAnswer, I look forward to assisting you today with your question and providing the best answer possible.

Can you hold SHIFT and press enter with SHIFT held down.

Does this give the right amount of space for you?

Please let me know

Thank you

Can I look at the document and see the issue Lisa?

- Click the following link: http://www.wikisend.com
- Upload the file to that website
- Once it is uploaded, the resulting page will display a "File ID" number.
- Please, give me that "File ID Number"

And tell me the page number that has this problem please

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I'd be happy to share but it's a huge file (chapter from a doctoral dissertation) and usually doesn't upload easily. I usually have to use DropBox. But I will try.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.

Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX page number with the issue Lisa?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

On all pages, starting on page 2. (After the Roman numeral introductory pages.)

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The fact that it keeps happening at the top of each page suggests to me that it is related to the Header settings. But I could not find the error.

Thanks Lisa

I see the problem, you have Automatic Indent for the first line.

On the areas where the problem is, click there

Then go to n Format -> Paragraph -> Indents and Spacing -> Indentation -> Special -> First Line.

Change First Line to None and this corrects it.

you do this for each area where the problem is.

If you have continued problems, or would like any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to let me know.

And if you can take a second to rate my service, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

It is already set to "none" in my document. That was the first thing that I checked.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

are you still here?

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
It is not, I checked and see this and it is set to first line.

Go to Page 8

Click to the left of The Sharon Civic Orchestra

So to the left of The

Then go to the indentation and you see it is set to First Line

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

This absolutely does not solve the problem. Please look at the margins again.

Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
Its the indent for first line, I see it everywhere, but give me 5 minutes Lisa, I am fixing it for you and will upload it
Expert:  Richard replied 3 years ago.
Its corrected.

It has the First Line set to indent, and this was per each paragraph so I had to go through an manually set it to none
