I have a macmini MC239xx/A (2009)and I need to replace the monitor. New monitors spec at 1920x1080 and the specs on the mac show 1920x1200.

Can I use these new monitors?

Hello and thank you for your question today. My name is Jason. I look forward to helping you today.

Yes, those monitors will work.

Being that the Mac supports up to 1920x1200, it will work with any monitor that is 1920x1200 or smaller (ie: 1920x1080 )

Thanks. Will the screen be filled or just partial...most new monitors are wider?

The screen will be filled.

Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX some people on the net say they need a special adaptor other than the one I currently connect with...I can use the standard ports

like the monitors DVI not the monitors hdmi?

You can use the DVI connectors. You only need an adapter if you plan on hooking it up with a unique connection.
