OS X 10.7.5
In imovie, The "No Theme" setting works fine. However when I select the "adventure" movie trailer, the Photo Browser, music icon, title,transition and background icons (all 5) are grey, and inactive. Same with the Edit>Select option.
Why / how can I add photos?
Ive followed these directions: as it is a similar problem - stopping at the Rebuild the libraries step.

Steve Herrod :

Hi, I'll be happy to help with this option - I believe there may be a limitation in that when using a theme in the trailer mode it doesn't allow photos to be added, only videos

Steve Herrod :

Can you see if it will allow a video clip to be added at all?

Steve Herrod :

Also, with the current trailer you are working on do you have this option?

Steve Herrod :

File-->Convert to Project

Steve Herrod :

once that has been done you should then be able to access the additional features etc...

Steve Herrod :

Let me know if any of that helps

Hi Steve - Yes, File ---> Convert to project is an option. And it worked. TY.
