jstinehelfer :

Hello my name if John. Hopefully together we can get this fixed.

jstinehelfer :

Have you plugged it in and let it charge up. Hold the Home button and sleep/wake button till it restarts and you see the apple?

Customer :

Yes once I see the apple that is where it stops and it stays there

jstinehelfer :

Have you only tried this one time or more than one time?

Customer :

I've been trying it for about a week now

jstinehelfer :

hmmm.

jstinehelfer :

Have you hooked it up to your PC and or Mac and tried it while it was plugged in to the computer?

Customer :

Yes, several times. When iTunes sees the ipad it brings up the restore screen, I'm trying to avoid having to do that.

jstinehelfer :

Ok let me research this a little more give me a minute to look this up

jstinehelfer :

Try holding down the volume up key while rebooting the device. That is supposed to disable MS, so it might get you back to a usable state. Although in all honesty, you're probably still going to need to do a restore to get it fully functioning.

jstinehelfer :

Other than this we have tried all the normal methods of getting this up and running. I am truly sorry. I know how frustrating this can be. It has happened to me as well.
