I tried to upload an update to my ipad mini, and got stock loading the software. How do I reload the original software (iTunes does not recognize the ipad)

BeBoo :

Hello and thank you for contacting JustAnswer, a paid expert support site. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I'd be glad to assist you with your issue.

BeBoo :

What do you see on the iPad's screen at the moment?

Customer:

Just a white apple with the loading line that hast moved in more than 24 hours

BeBoo :

Ok. Is the iPad plugged into the computer at the moment?

Customer:

yes. i've tried to unplugged and plug again and itunes does not recognize it

BeBoo :

No problem. On the iPad, please press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button (on the top) and the home button (below the screen). Keep them both held until the iPad turns off. When this happens, continue to hold the home button (the lower one) but release the Sleep/Wake button. The screen should not have anything on it and iTunes should tell you it found an iPad in recovery mode.

Customer:

Thank you very much!!!!!

BeBoo :

Did you get it working?

Customer:

yes it is in restoring mode

BeBoo :

Great. You should be able to click Restore and it will reinstall iOS for you.

Customer:

Great. Thank you

BeBoo :

No problem at all. Glad you were able to get it working. If you are satisfied, please be sure to rate the service.

BeBoo :

Tips are not required but are greatly appreciated.

Customer:
