Hi,
If I have a page open on Google, can I open another page while keeping the first one open the way I can in a web browser?
Thanks,
Holly

Yes, you can open new windows in Safari.

Tap on the + sign in the upper right part of the Safari toolbar to open another tab.

If you are clicking on a link and want to open it in a new window, hold your finger down on the link for 3 seconds and select open in new window.

Thanks, but
I know how to open new window in Safari
My question is, how do I do the same thing when I'm in Google on my iPad?
I want to keep one page open but at the same times open another one
Holly,

Safari is the web browser on your iPad as well.

Ok, so I guess if I hv something open in google, I just open new tab in safari and go to google again on that tab

Google needs to make their own tabs
Yes, that is correct.

Google is a search engine and Safari is the web browser.
