I may not have backed up my new iMac data to iCloud

I will continue to to look at your suggestions

thanks

the data lost from the iphone does not appear in icloud

the information (contacts calendar) is present on my iMac and my iPad ( though some is missing)

Okay, you can restore it from iCloud. If you do not have a backup anywhere you can't. Anyway take your own time and try other suggestions also. Then let me know the result.

why is it present on the imac and ipad and no longer on the iPhone?

I log on to icloud and the info is not there...?!?!?!?!?

It may because of you are using different account on iPhone. If you have the data you needed on your imac and iphone, please make an iCloud backup from any of that device. Then you can restore the data to iPhone from that backup. Remember to use the same account that you used for backing up the data for restoring also. Check this tutorial to see more info.

Jins
