Need help with I-Pad. Can't complete an on-line software upgrade. Don't have my Apple ID password XXXXX [email protected] Can't use I-Pad to change password. Thought Apple ID password XXXXX Revolution 126. Apparently not. That does not work.

On your Macbook, please go to:

Use the Forgot Password option.

Reset your password, and once you have, use the new password on your iPad. The sync is immediate, so your iPad will be instantly able to download updates with the new password.
