need help with my daughters ipod touch 4gn my youngest child put code in too many time and now it has like 1mil min before u can get to working again what can i do to fix this problem
Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about the issue.

The only way to remove the code is to reset the device to defaults, which will also remove all the data from it.
You will then be able to sync it to iTunes and get all the music, games, apps, etc back on the device.

Is this ok?

how to do this?

Here are the instructions:

1. Connect the iPod to the computer and then turn it OFF.
2. Push the power button for 2 seconds, then (without letting go), push the HOME button as well (the one with the square).
3. Keep holding BOTH for 10 seconds, then release the POWER button only (keep holding the HOME button).
4. After another 10 seconds, release the HOME button. The screen should be blank.

Run iTunes, and restore the iPod. This will erase everything, including the password.
Once done, set it up again. The password XXXXX be gone.

ok i hv windows 8 also never use wit this cpu will it hurt?

That's not a problem - just make sure you have iTunes installed on the computer.

If you don't have it, get it for free from:

http://www.apple.com/itunes

Install it on the WIndows 8 computer before starting.
