I have recently purchased an i mac computer, but upon trying to set up a Skype account I can get no response on the voice test call.
Please go to the Apple logo on the upper left of the screen, go to About This Mac (DO NOT Select More Info), and tell me the Version (under Mac OS X), the Processor and the Memory, it is all right there.

Processor 2.7 GHz Intel Core 15

Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Go to Skype / Preferences select Audio / Video tab choose your microphone and camera do you see your image and see the bar move when you speak?

Do you hear the test call voice when you dial the test call, but you do not hear your test call repeated back to you?
Do this then try the test call again:
