Hello! Thank you for your question. I am a licensed computer professional with over ten years of experience, and I will be assisting you today.

I'm sorry about the issue. Please let me know the followings, so I can check if your computer can be upgraded:

- Can you please click on the Apple logo/menu at the top left, then click on About this Mac..., then tell me the Processor and Memory?

- Also, there, click on More info... there, then open the Hardware section, then check the Professor name and speed.

- Next, go to Finder/folder. From the sidebar, select your hard disk by clicking it once, as shown below.

, then click on File menu on the top, then select Get Info. The window shown below appears.

, then check the Available: item

Please let me know. Thank you,

    Hi,

It looks like you are not available. Please try my previous suggestions in order to find out your computer specifications.

For upgrading to 10.5 (10.5.8 would automatically upgraded after upgrading to 10.5), the minimum system requirements are:

    • Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
    • 512MB of memory
    • DVD drive for installation
    • 9GB of available disk space
      (Reference: http://support.apple.com/kb/sp517)

If your computer meets or beats that system requirements, you can buy Mac OS X 10.5 at the website:
    http://www.ebay.com/sch/Operating-Systems-/11226/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=Mac+OS+X+Leopard+10.5

Also, if your computer meets or beats the minimum system requirements below:

    • DVD drive for installation
    • Mac Intel processor
    • 5 GB free hard drive space
    • 1 GB RAM

, then I suggest to buy/upgrade to Mac OS X 10.6 instead, as the 10.6 version is newer and better, and will also work with your printer:

Please let me know if you have any further question. Please reply back when you are available to continue. Thank you
