I just upgraded my Mac OS from 10.6.8 to 10.8.4 and now my computer will not sync the contact information in my AddressBook with the Contact information on my iPhone 4GS. The initial attempt to sync wiped out all of the contact information on my iPhone and now I can't replace it with the contacts on my Mac.

Any suggestions?

Chuck
Hello and thank you for your question today. My name is Jason. I look forward to helping you today.

I see that you have been working on this problem for quite a bit of time.

Do you still need help with this problem? If so, may I start a screen sharing session on your computer and help you resolve the problem? I will send a remote link within minutes after your response, so please keep refreshing the page.

Thank you.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I still need help. I am willling to let you run a screen sharing session on my computer as long as it is secure and can be turned off or removed after the problem is solved.

Are you having any problems with running that remote application after it is downloaded?

Which Internet browser are you currently using (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, or something of the like)?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I have been unable to run the remote application. I am running Firefox. The error message that I get says:

Please, run the link in Safari instead.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I tried running the URL in Safari. I get an error message.

What now?

Chuck

Thank you for the update.

That depends on the error that you got.

May I ask what the error was?

That is curious.

The page worked in Firefox, but cannot be found in Safari.

Please, follow the instructions below to solve your problem:
- Open Safari
- In the top menu bar, click Safari
- Click EMPTY CACHE (reset Safari)
- Click the Empty button
- In the top menu bar, click Safari again
- Click Reset Safari
- Reset
- Go back to the same link in Safari and see if it works now.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

I reset Safari as requested. I did get the "Just Answer" web page and have attempted to join. So far it has not been able to connect.
