Hi and welcomed to

My name is Nick. I will assist you with your issues.

Have you ever synced your iPad with iTunes or backup with iCloud before?

Do you have iTunes installed on your computer?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Thank you for your response Nick.Yes, I tried to sync to computer but nothing happens, the ipad only turns on when connected to power outlet and shows the white USB adapter with the round iTunes blue circle saying "restore needed iphone cannot make calls" then when I disconnect it from power it would shut down , then I try to sync with iTunes but I won't turn on at all.

Thanks so much for your info and reply.

We will have to restore your iPad. Please restore your iPad as follows:

  1. Press Power button until the iPad is turned off.
  2. Connect your iPad to computer.
  3. Open iTunes.
  4. Hold power and home together for EXACTLY 10 seconds.
  5. Release power button. Keep holding Home button until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized.
  6. At this point will the display come on iTunes. Select Restore.
  7. Your computer might need to download the latest firmware. Let it download.
  8. After the restore, your iPad will need to be setup and backup from icloud or from iTunes.

For steps 1-6, it might not work right away. Please repeat this process 2-3 times if needed.

Let me know how it worked out. Thank you!
