Hi and welcomed to JustAnswer.com.

My name isXXXXX will assist you with your issues.

Please first go to Safe Mode and test Word.

  1. Shutdown (turn off) your Mac.
  2. Press the Power button to turn on your Mac.
  3. Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
  4. Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon comes up.
  5. Your Mac will boot into Safe Mode.
  6. Open Word.
  7. Does it work or still have the same error?
  8. Does Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook have the same error?

Please let me know so we can continue troubleshooting on this issue. Thank you!
