Hi I am yachting in Greek isles. Bought marine traffic app.

Hi I am yachting in Greek isles.

Bought marine traffic app. Loaded it up. Now keeps coming up with can not locate your location service locked on your devise ( or turned off). Can you help as I need to urgently track my location. Thanks.

Hi, I will assist,

I'm sorry about the issue. Please go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services (if it's not there, go to Settings > Location Services), then make sure it is turned ON, then check. Also, there, go to System Services, and turn on location service for individual app/item if needed, then check.

If needed, please press and hold both the Power button and the Home buttons together for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears, then wait a bit, then check.

Viet - thanks for reply but hasn't worked - see here the problem and message.

Also for your information I had the program registered but have
forgotten my password XXXXX couldn't find how or where to change the
password XXXXX in desperation I deleted it and bought it again!

Now though I am still getting the other message I am having difficulty
with which is to say user name or password XXXXX - and again I
can't find where to change the password XXXXX

Vietnam here are the screens - how do I get around this. Am 2nd time
using my gmail email not this raywhite one and still comes up with
invalid address

You're welcome. I'm sorry. Were you able to go into Settings and enable location?

 

When it asks to enter email address, you've put only your email user name; you should put your whole email address. For example, enter UserName @gmail.com (not UserName only.)


Does it (the marine traffic app?) ask for an Apple ID password, or is it something else?

Viet it asks for password and I have tried a number of passwords including my apple password. Nothing works and I keep on getting that same message that I did a screen shot of and sent to you. Have you received them. Want to change password as easier way around it but can not see an option to do that.

Can you help,with that specifically.

I did on one occasion see an option on the marine traffic website tomchangenpasswords but can not get back to that page - just can't seem to find it.
