I just downloaded aol for mac. It is resending old emails I sent months ago. What is wrong?

yes, from yesterday when I tried to use the new aol for mac -- and I tried to sign on just before you cam on line and I got notice that an attempted email was undeliverable -- an old email that went out when I was trying to sign on
