My Ipad screen has frozen with the I tunes icon with plug in

My Ipad screen has frozen with the I tunes icon with plug in cord for down loading and wont let me access turning I pad o or access other options .It is also getting hot while connected to either power source or computer

If it is getting hot, it can mean the battery is shorting the iPad out.

First though, disconnect from the charger.

Hold the power and home button for 10 seconds till you see the Apple Logo.

Release and tell me please if it now starts

ok, how hot is it getting?

When they get hot (they should have no temperature increase at all) it means the battery is shorting out, and this freezes the device.

just got it now as i went to bed it was midnight i sent u a message stating that. have now plugged the iPad in and it is getting warm still no different.If u solve the problem for me can i change your rating?


Colin, as I explained, if it is overheating, it is the battery faulting

You need to take it back to have this replaced under warranty.
