Hi, I will assist with this issue.

Does this pop up box come up automatically when you turn on the computer?

Or does this pop up box come up when you open a particular program/application/website, etc.?

Thank you
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

When I sign on with the computer password. It also randomly pops up later when on the computer.

Expert:  Viet - Mac Tech replied 1 year ago.
Is this Mac computer, or iPad, etc.?

Can you open Mail application, then go to Preferences, Accounts, and delete/remove the yahoo account if it's there?

Thank you
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Mac computer

I can't locate the mail application. I am signed in but can't find anywhere which leads me to preferences

Expert:  Viet - Mac Tech replied 1 year ago.
Do you mean you are signed in the yahoo account?

Check the Applications folder where it shows all your programs (Open Mac HD/drive, then click on Applications on the left). Thanks
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Forgive me for being so computer illiterate! When I attempted it didnt list anything but the cloud account. Not the yahoo accnt

Can we do a screen sharing session, so I can check/fix this issue directly for you?

Can you wait for the password XXXXX up box appear, then don't close it, then let me know, so I can check?

Thank you
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

sure

I'll shut down and get it back

Expert:  Viet - Mac Tech replied 1 year ago.
OK, don't close the popup box, then reply back to me after shutting down/restarting. Thanks

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

How do I verify that I have done it?

Drag the yahoo messenger program (from Applications folder) to the Trash if you have not done yet

, then restart computer, then see if that password XXXXX box still appears.

Please let me know. Thank you
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Believe it or not,...it still popped up

Expert:  Viet - Mac Tech replied 1 year ago.

Sorry, does it pop up right away when turning on the computer (when you have not open anything yet)?

Is there any other yahoo program you see in Applications that you can remove? Thanks

Customer: replied 1 year ago.

Ill check

Expert:  Viet - Mac Tech replied 1 year ago.
OK. Also, does it pop up right away when turning on the computer (when you have not open anything yet)? Thank you
Customer: replied 1 year ago.

My mail is yahoo based. It doesnt pop up until I sign main password in.

Expert:  Viet - Mac Tech replied 1 year ago.
So there is no other yahoo program?

Do you mean you have to sign in the computer before you can open any program or use the computer?

Or do you open Safari, then open yahoo mail there, then sign in, then this issue occurs?

Thank you
