just connected my new iphone5 to itunes. It wanted to backup before I do anything. I did, now it is locked wanting my network. Whats that? I am not a computer person at all. Hope you can help. Really dont need to be on Itunes that badly but desperately need my phone back.

Press and hold the Home button and Sleep/Wake button down together at the same time. Continue to hold buttons until the iPhone shuts off and the Apple logo appears, then let go. Allow up to 2 minutes for the iPhone to reach the home screen.

did as instructed, screen now says wifi at the top, below it says choose a network

You can turn WiFi off if you have no WiFi network to connect to.

Tap on the Settings icon, go to WiFi. Then tap on it to turn off.
