Lets repair your computers permission settings. Click on the magnifying glass in the upper right corner and type in disk utility. Choose Macintosh HD and select repair permissions
It is in the left hand side
You may not be in the right application. Search for disk utility
Ok do you see macintosh HD in the left column now?
At the top menu within disk utility, do you see Verify, info, burn, unmount
If you can't see it, try opening disk utility from the applications folder. Open your finder window by clicking on the face icon in the dock, Choose applications<Utilities< disk utility

Click on the application window that you opened and then look at the top menu bar. What name does it say next to the apple logo?

Click on first aid. You should see a mini menu bar
Can you take a screen shot of your application and attach it. Press Command+Shift+ 3
Oh ok. Does the top menu bar at least say disk utility?
Can you double click on the picture that says disk utility
Ok now select Macintosh HD and choose repair permissions
Ok, while that is working, can you look below the progress bar and confim the available storage size

Yes it is a one time charge. You will need to cancel the membership trial that you accidentally enrolled so you are not charged monthly. You can do that from the email that was sent to you
Ok, in disk utility, can you go ahead and select repair disk. Your computer will be sluggish during this time which is normal
No you will choose Repair disk on the opposite side
Click verify disk. We need to confirm that your HD is ok incase your operating system needs to be re-installed

Ok now reset your PRAM. This will require you to restart your computer.
1.Shut down the computer.
2.Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
3.Turn on the computer.
4.Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys. You must press this key combination before the gray screen appears. Let computer chime 4 times
5.Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound four time.s
6.Release the keys.
Before we can determine if your operating system needs to be re-installed, we need to check for updates and wait some time to see if it pops back up again
Click on the apple logo in the upper left corner and choose software updates
