Hi, my name is David, and I will do whatever I possibly can to help answer your questions.

What happens when you try to sync with iTunes, is there a specific error message?

Regards,
David.

i am not trying to sync with itunes. i simply want to copy of video from iphone to my computer.

i do not want to sync for fear of all other data on my phone.

Expert:  David replied 4 years ago.
Hi,

Syncing is what will transfer all the data to the computer.

Connect it, select it in iTunes, and click the Movies tab.

Tick the option to sync movies and your movie will sync.

If this has never been synced it should mention backing up before syncing.

Let me know if it gives you any problems.

Regards,
David.

i am not trying to transfer the video to a mac, but rather a PC, and i do not use itunes on this PC. any other way around it.?

Expert:  David replied 4 years ago.
Hi,

The conduit to connect to the iPhone is iTunes, and is not available any other way.

Old iPods behaved like USB disk drives, but the iPhone connection is different and happens only with iTunes.

It will not erase anything on your device without giving you to option to cancel.

Sincerely,
David.

Hi,

Absolutely, no problem.

sync takes what's on computer to phone. I want to do opposite. How?
Expert:  David replied 4 years ago.
Hi,

Sync works both ways, are you getting any message in iTunes otherwise, what does it say exactly?

Thanks,
David.

Can we talk?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
This is very frustrating
Expert:  David replied 4 years ago.
Hi,

This is the only way we can communicate, but you can ask anything you're unsure of here.

First of all, do you have iTunes installed yet?

Thanks,
David.

Hi,

If you would like to try a third party tool, there is actually one that might help.

But itunes should do the same.

Let me know if I can help with it.

Sincerely,
David.
