Hello, my name is Dan.
I will do my best to help you, the only stupid question is the unasked one.

OS X will not run DOS, it will also not run any exe apps. The way to do what you want is to run Windows as a virtual machine or running native,
Then you can download the game from DropBox and play.

Hope that helps.

I have downloaded the DOS emulator "dosbox" for mac. I've got that part running. I just can't figure out how to load and run the game in the CD drive.

Expert:  Daniel replied 3 years ago.
My mistake, I read that as DOS.
Have you followed the above, it tells step by step.

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Done. What do I do next in order to run the game?

Expert:  Daniel replied 3 years ago.
On th bottom of that page it tells how to run DOSBox.
Open Terminal, copy/paste this into the command line.

open -a DOSBox --args -conf path/to/your-config.conf

Basically follow all the steps, if it still gives you trouble then try this.

The problem is not fixed

The command above is for when you wish to pass a customized configuration.

To launch dosbox, you need to just double click on the icon, you should find this under "applications" but if you can't find it for any reason, use spotlight to seach for it (magnifying) glass top right of the finder toolbar.
