i have a note book air it is asking me for the password XXXXX

i have a note book air it is asking me for the password XXXXX keychain but i don't know what it is. what can i do?

not just in mail and i believe a friend tried to change my mail from yahoo to G-mail

So are you no longer using yahoo or are you using both?

Customer:

i haven't tried g-mail and yahoo first asks for the keychain password XXXXX i do not know

Ok. We can reset that. It is asking for the password XXXXX Yahoo. Did you forget your yahoo password?

Customer:

i tried entering my password XXXXX it would not accept it so, i changed it with the same result i think, should i retry now?

can you go to yahoo.com and type in your password XXXXX?

Customer:

i can get on yahoo mail but i don't have to enter a password XXXXX just click on mail

I meant without using apple mail. When you check it with safari, do you need to type in your password?

not sure
