Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX I will do whatever I possibly can to help answer your questions.

To remove the pass code you must restore using Recovery Mode.

Do you have a computer with iTunes? What type is it?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

yes ,we think . A Dell computer

Expert:  David replied 4 years ago.

First open iTunes on the computer.

Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of the iPod until it shuts off.

Next press and hold the Home button on the face of the iPod, connect to the computer, not letting go of the Home button, until iTunes says it has detected an iPod in Recovery Mode.

Then follow the instructions to complete the restore.

Please get back to me if you have any questions.
