Hi,My Ipad says "cannot retriev mail. Unable to connect to

My Ipad says "cannot retriev mail. Unable to connect to server" (but in Norwegian). I have checked the e.mail account info and I cannot find any mistakes.

Can you help?


How about sending the mail? Are you able to send the mail using the ipad even though you are not able to receive?

Yes. I managed to send an email just now And surprise! Incoming mail was updated until 7 hours ago, not till now. But I still get the message 'cannot retrieve mail. Username or password XXXXX XXXXX
Let's try a reset first

Press and hold the power button and home button together until you see an apple logo

Let me know whether this resolves your issue

Did not work. I tried it twice. Same message came up ' cannot retrieve .....
Let's delete and recreate the mail account.

Go to settings > mail, contacts and calendars. Tap on your account and then on delete.

Now add the account back again.

Let's see whether this works.
