I HAVE WIRELESS INTERNET AN SMART TV UPGRADER AND APPLE COMPUTER

I am trying to connect my smart TV upgrader to the TV. Have mac computer

I am as far as putting in my access point but it says the access point connection has failed

I HAVE CONNECTED THE SMART TV TO THE TV AND IT IS ON THE SCREEN BUT IT SAYS FAILED TO CONNECT TO THE NETWORK CHECK NETWORK STATUS

HI John, when i go to Connection Setting, the screen on the tv


has


Connection Setting


access point name SSID


but only the neighbours intenet comes up on the screen


 


there is a manual button on the side if i go to this and enter my SSID


then asks for wireless network security. my security is WPa2. there are 2 WPA2 one is PSK(AES} the other is WPA2 PSK{TKIP} i have picked both it then asks me for a password XXX says access point connection failed ???thanks

You need to select the name of your wireless network first. It should appear there.

Is the router too far from the TV?

HI John, excuse my ignorance is the router the WIFI machine or the smart tv box


the smart tv box is next to the TV


the wifi is upstairs but my mac book that is linked to it is sitting next to the tv and its internet access is ok thanks

the wireless network does not come up on the screen the only on that is there is the neighbours!! If i put it in it doesnt accept it

Please follow the steps below to refresh the IP addresses of your network:

1- Turn off your wireless router (and unplug it from the electricity outlet if it does not have a power button) BUT PLEASE FIRST BOOKMARK (add to favorites) THIS PAGE SO YOU CAN COME BACK WITH ME AFTER THE RESTART.

2- Turn off your internet modem (if you have one) and unplug it from the electricity outlet

3- Turn off your computer(s) and unplug your TV and smart TV upgrader.

4- Turn off your wireless printer(s)

5- Wait 60 seconds

6- Turn them all ON again.

7- Wait 5 minutes (yes, 5 minutes please)

8- Try to connect now. Do you see the name of your network now?
