ehabtutor :

unfortunatley The only way to unlock an iPad with a passcode, other than entering the passcode, is to "restore" it to its original factory settings.

Customer:

How do I do that?

ehabtutor :

first of all you need to understand that this will remove all of the data on your ipad unless you have them backed up on your pc

Customer:

I have not put anything on it yet other than apps that the school pushed down on all the ipads that were given to teachers. I am sure I can get those again,.

ehabtutor :

great

Customer:

So what do I do

ehabtutor :

please follow apples instructions to restore your ipad to factory settings

Customer:

Where do I find those

ehabtutor :

1. Connect iPad to your computer.

2. Select iPad in the iTunes sidebar, then click the Summary tab.

3. Click “Check for Update.” iTunes tells you if there’s a newer version of the iPad software available.

4. Click Restore. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the restore process.

ehabtutor :

following these steps will restore your ipad to its factory settings and will remove the passcode

ehabtutor :

are you attempting the above steps?
