Customer Question

i have iphone 4S and i plug it to charge and bit is fully charged but i take it
off charger and it goes dead. Can't use it when it is plugged in . Has no sound and said
searching at top left it has no service and it should have with ATT. The menu will come up but can't use it . The office is closed untill Wednesday morning

Hold the Sleep and Menu buttons together until you see the Apple Logo. Let me know.

ok did that and ask for pass code entered it and menu came up but it has searching up at top left

it still is searching and if i unplug charger it goes off

no i will call them wednesday. it has December date on it also

When you plug the charger back in does it seem to reboot or does the screen just come on?

You can try restoring the iPhone, (see instructions at link below) but if it is still not working then I would take it to Apple, I would not bother with AT&T, it should still be under Apple's one year warranty:
