iPAD black screen, reset doent work, I do see the Apple logo

iPAD black screen, reset doen't work, I do see the Apple logo for a second then does black again.

Hi,

Might be the ipad is void of charge.

Just plug it into a computer. Wait for 5-10 minutes. Now try the reset again by pressing and holding the power button and the home button together until you see an apple logo.

Did not work, I tried everything so far on apple forum.


 


I know it has power as it was pluged in wall for hours.


 


I am out of options to try, hope you have anotehr one.

Let's try this.

Open itunes in the computer and connect the ipad. Now, on the ipad, press and hold the power button and the home button together until you see an apple logo. The very moment you see the apple, let go off the power button, but keep on holding the home button for another 10-15 sec

Your computer would now give a message that it has detected an ipad in recovery mode and needs to be restored.

Restore the ipod now and finally select the option "set up as a new ipad".

Let's see whether this works.

Unfortunately, I believe it is having a hardware problem....:(

May be draining the battery out would help.

It would be better if you can take it into any apple store nearby. If they can't fix it and if the ipad is under warranty, you will get a free replacement, provided there is no water/physical damage.
