My daughter has locked herself out of her phone. She never created an I-tunes account connected to her phone. She has an I-tunes account for an I-pod. I connected to I-Tunes and it still says the phone is disabled.How do I get the phone to unlock?Help !! Thank you.

hi,the only way to unlock an iphone is to restore it with recovery modehere is how: 1.Attach the phone to the pc 2.Turn the phone off 3.Press and hold power. Keep holding power. As soon as you see display on the screen of any sort press and hold home button. 4.Hold power and home together for *exactly* 10 seconds 5.Release power but keep holding home until the pc beeps as a USB device is recognized. 6.At no point will the display come on. Now your restore should work.after that open itunes on your computer, if you did the above steps correct, itunes will stated that your iphone is in recovery mode and asked if you want to restore. click yes to restore.***Please let me know if there is still any issue. it does matter what itunes you connect it, just follow my step to get the iphone restore to factory.since the iphone is locked they no way to backup the data on the phone.Apple created the locked to keep people away from your data and personal informations.
there is no other way, only one way is restore it to factory again
thats the whole reason why Apple have the password XXXXXXXXX in the first place to keep people from extract the data if the phone was stolen
if you dont have itunes, just go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/
download and install itunes on your computer
and follow my instruction to restore it with recovery mode.all the purchased app and music can be re-download from itunes againhttp://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519

Looks like it's going to take awhile to update ... restore. Think I'm on the right track though. I'll celebrate when it's finished. Thanks for your help.
