I cant update my Itunes. I get a Policy.8.0.Microsoft "Win32-policy"version error
Optional Information: Product: Other Software (if necessary): iTunes Already Tried: Uninstalling old version and re-installing latest
Hello, and welcome to JustAnswer.com!My name is XXXXX, XXX I'm here to help.
That error typically means you're trying to install the 64 bit version of iTunes, but your computer only supports 32 bit software. You'll want to go back to the iTunes download page, and make sure that, if you're given the option, you're downloading the 32 bit version.
Great, this is the exact message that I get:
'policy.8.0.Microsoft.VC80.CRT,type="win32-policy", version="8.0.50727.6195",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitectur e="x86"'. please refer to Help and Support for mor information. HRESULT: 0x.
Same thing?
What is there is not a 32 bit version?
If there's not a 32 bit version let me know for sure.
If you don't see one, do the following:
Try following the instructions here for removing and reinstalling everything related to iTunes on your computer.
Same result
Trying a 32 bit version

Did you remove not only iTunes but all the other things listed in the link I posted?
Jep, the Bonjour, Common files, itunes and so forth
Okay, and after removing you restarted, then reinstalled from the download, correct?
Didnt restart, will try that, but will I not lose the chat with you?
You will, but you can make a bookmark to our conversation or follow the link in your email to get back. Also, make sure you follow the uninstall instructions again before restarting, just to be sure.
