Hello. Welcome to JustAnswer, a paid global support site.

Are you running a Windows OS or a Mac OS on your computer?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
i am running windows xp
You should be able to connect your iPad to your computer via the USB cable.

From there, open My Computer either from your desktop.

From there you will see a series of drives and then you should see your "Apple iPad" (or whatever you have named it). Double click it.

From there, you will have a folder called DCIM, double click that.

Then you will have another folder with a bunch of letters and numbers. Double click that.

Here, you will see all your photos/videos on your iPad. You can click, hold, and drag them from your iPad to your desktop or to another folder, or you can hold CONTROL on your keyboard and click the items to select more than one and then move them, or you can click the first item, then press CONTROL and A to select all and then move them.

This should do it. Let me know if you need further assistance.
