Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX welcome to JustAnswer. I look forward to assisting you today with your question and providing the best answer possible.Did you turn on the Wi-Fi?
Yes, I turned on Wi-Fi, THere is a place that says Choose a Network ... and a little circle turns perioically but no dorp down like yours to choose from. The next bar says Other ...
Ok, now please tele me what is you network setup where you are? I mean, you have a modem, what is it connected to?
I have a Negear router. Shelby Wireless is my provider. All this worked fine until two days ago when my regular desktop computer had to be rebooted, both through the router and through Shelby Wireless' little box.
The computer has nothing to do with it unless it is being used as a router.
Yes, I am kind of 'dumb" I guess. Shelby Wireless is my wireless povider. It needed rebooting because things just didn't seem to be working properly and a connection was lost which we fixed. But after all that, my iPad didn't work anymore as far as getting on the internet is concerned. I am concerned about the little turning circle that shows up right beside the words "Choose a Network." Maybe I should just take it to an apple store here and let them look at it.
It may just need resetting.
We rebooted and waited for white apple, but it still doesn't connect. Sorry.
Restart the router, unplug it, wait ten seconds and plug it back in.Remember, if for any reason you’re unsatisfied, we can continue our conversation until you’ve received the information you’re looking for. Still doesn't work. Thanks anyway.
Hi,I recommend doing a software restore on the ipad.Follow these steps to restore your device:Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes before attempting to update.Connect your device to your computer.Select your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch when it appears in iTunes under Devices.Select the Summary tab.Select the Restore option. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up option (see in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up, you should not have to worry about restoring your iOS device). When the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up:Remember, if for any reason you’re unsatisfied, we can continue our conversation until you’ve received the information you’re looking for.
