Hi,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with the iphone...:( Don't worry. I will try my best to help you resolve this issue.

I need a bit more info from you.

By tones, what do you mean? Did you mean the songs are not working? Are they not playing or are they not making any sound?

Thank You
Vinod

I believe the mute button to the left side of the iphone (just above the volume controls is not on), correct?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
NO it is not
Expert:  Vinod Menon replied 4 years ago.
Let's first check whether the volume is turned up to the max. Click on the volume up button to the side.

Now, go to settings > sounds. There, make sure the "ringers and alerts" volume is also turned up to the max possible.

Also, in settings > sounds, make sure the lock sounds and keyboard clicks are turned on.

Let me know whether this helps

done all that still nothing

:(

Let's reset the settings then.

Go to settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

This will restart your iphone. You would probably need to set up the settings again.

Let's see whether this works.

did as you asked nothing changed

Sorry to hear that, Lori...:(

Let's now try a restore of the phone.

Open itunes in the computer and connect the phone. Now, to the left side of the itunes, your iphone name will be listed, below "devices".

Click on it and now to the middle of the screen, select the option "restore".
