autorotate settings on iphone 3
Optional Information: Product: iPhone Already Tried: rebooting phone, checked and confirmed that the level sensor is working by using the Stanley Level.
Hello and welcome to JustAnswer. I look forward to assisting you today with your question and providing the best answer possible. Are you trying to turn off autorotate or turn it on?Thank YouVinod
Trying to turn in on. It used to be on before I updated the OS.
Let's try this.
Double click the Home button.
This will bring a list of apps to the bottom layer of the screen. Just swipe across that layer from left to right until you see the "orientation lock" (it is a square with a clockwise arrow inscribed). It would be having a slash on it. Just tap on it and check whether autorotate is turned on.
If you have any difficulty finding the autorotate icon, just have a look at the following figure
