THEN I "LOST MYSELF" BROWSING YOUR APPLE STORE. IT OCCURS TO ME THAT I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THIS ORDER. IS THERE ANY WAY TO CHECK WHETHER MY SALES/SHIPPING REQUEST HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND HONORED? OR DID I OVERLOOK A STEP? WILL THERE BE ANY SHIPPING RECEIPT NUMBER FOR ORDER? THANKS XXXX XXXXX

2. DO NOT KNOW HOW.
3. APPLE STORE. THIS INFO IS IN QUESTION ABOVE.
4. FIRST ORDER FROM APPLE STORE, WHICH IS PRESENTLY CLOSED

Sign in your email account and see if Apple has sent an email order confirmation. You can go to your bank/credit card website and log in and check your current credit card transaction.

But you don't need to do the above as you've checked your order history at https://store.apple.com/us/order/list, and it's not there, then the order did not go through.
