Nick, my calendar is still blank. Do you have any other suggestions?
Expert:  Nick H. replied 2 years ago.
Please go to your calendar. Try to create a new event. Save that event and go back out. Then go into Calendar again to see if the other events come back.

How do I restore my calendar from the iTunes backup? I could not find any information on this. Where would I find instructions on restoring data from iTunes on a PC to an iPad?
Expert:  Nick H. replied 2 years ago.
If you connect your ipad to computer and open iTunes, you will see your ipad on the left hand side under Devices. RIGHT CLICK on the ipad and select Restore from Backup. Select the date and click Restore.

Here is a video to show you how to restore from backup.

The only backup listed is the one from this afternoon. The video showed multiple backup. Is my calendar toast?
Expert:  Nick H. replied 2 years ago.
I am afraid that you will have to re-enter your events. Do you have an email with calendar like Gmail or Hotmail or Yahoo?

  • Hi John, Thank you for your expertise and, more important, for your kindness because they make me, almost, look forward to my next computer problem. After the next problem comes, I'll be delighted to correspond again with you. I'm told that I excel at programing. But system administration has never been one of my talents. So it's great to have an expert to rely on when the computer decides to stump me. God bless, Bill Bill M. Schenectady, New York
