i have an apple iPhone 4, with 32 gb memory. when I sync it, i see that 7.7 gb memory is taken up by "other". what does "other" represent, and how can I free up that space?

Thank you for the question. Normally this is the space that is taken up by Safari cache. You can clear the Safari cache and cookies by going to Settings -> Safari -> Clear Cookies, History and Cache. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to assist further. Thanks again!
