I GET MESSAGES V ERY OFTEN TELLIN ME MY MAC IS NOT CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET,
AND AFTER FOLLOWING THE PROMPTS TWO TIMES IT TELLS ME THE WIRELESS CONNECTION IS GOOD. I ASSUME THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THE LINKSYS?

When you secured the router, do you remember what security mode you choose?

WEP or WPA?

Use the link provided to log into the router's setup page so we can see the level of security. When you click on the link the router's log in prompt will appear use the following.

username: leave the box blank (if that doesn't work try admin)
password: admin

Once you log in click on Wireless up top then wireless security right underneath.

there is a window that is partially blocked that says BLOCK WAN REQUESTS--I CANT SEE ANYTHING BEYOND THAT
