iPad 2. Again I have gone to settings and adjusted recent messages from 50 up to 1,000 and it does not seem to make a deference I can only keep up thru 10 e-mail. I keep every thing I want on iPhone and lap top it communicates to.

Who is your email provider? yahoo, gmail, aol etc..
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
Good question. I receive e-mail thru server at our corp office. Is there some way for me to look on iPad and give you that answer ?
Expert:  Vinod Menon replied 4 years ago.
no need. Since it is a work email, it could mostly be a pop account.

So what I understand is your emails get deleted after a day or two, correct?

Does this happen on your iphone as well?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
Negative. iPhone is good.

Let's check whether the settings are the same for the iphone and the ipad.

On your iphone, let's go to settings > mail, contacts and calendars.

Tap on your email account.

Click on your email listed in the next page as well, next to account.

Click on the "advanced" link to the bottom.

There you will have an option "delete from server" or "remove".

Just check what is in there and compare it with the ipad. If it differs, change in the ipad accordingly.

Let me know whether this resolves your issue

It seems to be same. I saw delete account, did not tap that option.
Expert:  Vinod Menon replied 4 years ago.
Let's try deleting and readding the account on the ipad.

Click on delete account. Now in settings > mail, contacts and calendars, tap "add account". Click on other.

Now try to create the account again (similar to that in the iphone)
