how can i restore my iphone 3GS. it only connect to the wall charger and not to my computer which is windows

You can restore your 3GS to factory settings by go to Settings->General->Reset (all the way at the bottom of the llist)

i tried all the usb ports and it didnt work, i plugged somethng else into the port and it work eg a flash drive

no, i only have one that connects to the iphone, but the usb is working fine, because recognizes fmy flash drives

Hi,

Have you tried uninstalling itunes from your do a restart and then reinstall itunes and see if that allows you iphone to show up in windows. Also does your computer have all of the current windows updates? Have you tried another iphone data cable?
