I have changed my hotmail password XXXXX my computer but I cannot

I have changed my hotmail password XXXXX my computer but I cannot get into my ipad to change password. how do I do this?

Please go to Settings on the iPad home screen

Then go to Mail

Select the account on the left side

Tap account:[email protected]

Erase the password XXXXX then type your new password XXXXX click Done.

If that doesn't work, be sure to change your password XXXXX something that has at least eight characters that is letters and numbesr only.

you have NOT answered my question I cannot get into settings on my ipad because of the blue box which shows the PASSWORD XXXXX I cannot get PAST that to my setiings HOW do I get to my settings.

You can't dismiss the box?
Simply press the Home button on the front of the iPad (the only button on the front) to get back to the Home screen.
