Hello and thank you for asking your question, with JustAnswer.com/Mac. I am Sr. Mac Tech Support Specialist, Terry, glad to assist you.
What model of iPod Touch are you using?
How do I determine that
Just click on Settings,
I have the same model - MC540LL
you have an iPod Touch 8Gb
Bear with me a moment
I will get that information for you
What you need to do first, is go to your main screen
and select "Settings"
then select General
from within the General window, select Accessibility
turn the White on Black slide to Off
This will change your iPod Touch back to its original color state
anytime you have any visual settings that you wish to modify for your iPod
Touch, you want to go the Accessibility screen
visual and sound that is
let me know if this helps :)
you must have misunderstood me because whenever I attempt to take the pictures they still come out black and white and in sepia format
so tell me when you see the pictures in black and white and the sepia format, are you referring to when you print out the pics or view them on your
when I view them on the ipod
Also are you using a Mac or a PC when syncing your iPod Touch?
but should that matter since I dont take pics with while having it synced to the pc
I have that problem when taking pics
Just getting more facts to determine where you are coming from
you have provided me what I needed to know
one moment please
What I would like you to try now is to try and reset your iPod Touch
it will not cause you to lose any data or media
all you are doing is simply performing a hard reset
in the settings menu as well?
Not just yet:)
but not yet
right from where you are
press and hold down the Sleep and Home menu buttons
Reset all settings?
for approximately 10 seconds
no don't press that option yet
until the screen goes completely black'
this is for better choice of words, a reboot
of your iPod Touch
this will enable your iPod Touch to reset
so now its off
release the keys once the screen goes black
..... turned back on?
you should see a little spinning dial on your now black background
When you pressed both the Sleep and Home menu buttons- did your screen go black?
if it did, it should simply reboot on its onw
is it going?
ok its back on
Good- go ahead and check your photos once again'
its still the same as before
Ok- before I go forward
can you give me an idea how you got your iPod Touch into the black and white /sepia color format?
I dont know it was like that from the begining
So it has always been in this undesired color format?
Now that is different
Is there a way to fix it
Ok, let's give the Settings >General and now select "Reset All Settings"
don't worry - I am not out of answers
I am probing for causal factors which may have contributed to this color issue
Ok I already reset all settings its now loading
Its back on it says location services and do I proceed from there
is a function that allows your iPod to be identified geographically for some apps that require location services
like Fandango for example
when you use that App to locate movie theatres in your area
OK,,, I t works thanks so much you are such a genius. =D
Haa haa! - Thanks- but I am just a W.I.P.
A " Work-In-Progress"

The pleasure was all mine
