Also, it would help to know the following information to more efficiently assist you:

* Who is your email provider?
* Who is your internet service provider?
* What type of internet service do you have? Ex. Comcast high-speed cable internet, AT&T Uverse DSL, etc.

Verizon is email provider.

high speed cable internet is what we have.

Customer:

The message on the screen says the following. 'A copy has been placed in your Outbox. No password XXXXX Please go to mail account settings and enter a password.' I did that.

Have you tried removing and re-adding the mail account in your iPad?

Customer:

yes. I reconnected and redid settings in itune and created a new one. the account before this one was not receiving or sending. At least nowit is sending.
